Zusammenfassung
During World War I, the Austro-Hungarian Empire sent troops to fight against the Russian Empire on the Eastern Front. The Austro-Hungarian Empire deployed a large number of troops in several major battles against the Russian Army. In 1917 the empire was facing significant challenges and setbacks, struggling to maintain its military position, suffering from a lack of resources, and being unable to match the strength and power of the enemy forces. As a result, the empire was unable to make significant gains and was forced into a state of stalemate on the Eastern Front.
